5 Beaches you must visit in Puerto Rico

When you are in Puerto Rico, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. But, we want to share with you a small guide of 5 beaches that you must visit if you are in "La Isla del Encanto".

1: Buyé

Located in the town of Cabo Rojo in the southwest of the island, Buye beach or "Playa Buyé" is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico. It has a large stretch of sand and calm and crystalline waters.

It is a beach well known by the locals, so our recommendation is that you arrive early in the morning and if possible on weekdays. Perfect for photographs or simply to enjoy a day at the beach.

2: Crash Boat

Crash Boat beach is located in the town of Aguadilla in the Northwest of the Island. It is one of the most diverse and beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. Perfect for lovers of snorkeling, diving, adventurers, or simply to spend a relaxing day on the beach.

There are some local food shops where you can get snacks or drinks, and there is also a company that rents water sports.

3: Poza de Don Guelo

A hidden gem in the town of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. "Poza de Don Guelo" is a small beach in the shape of a natural pool, with crystal clear and very calm waters. Perfect for young children and the whole family.

This beach is not very well known, but it is definitely a visit that you should consider if you are in Puerto Rico.

4: Seven Seas

It's name comes from the different shades of blue that you will be able to see in the water. Seven Seas Beach is located in the town of Fajardo, in the northeast of the island. It is perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling.

Just minutes away you will also find a great gastronomic variety in the area known as "Las Croabas"

5: La Jungla

La Jungla Beach is another hidden paradise in Puerto Rico.Located in the town of Guánica, it is a beach with calm waters and surrounded by mangroves.

Its access was recently remodeled and parking areas were established, factors for which it was not widely visited before. Perfect for the whole family and activities like kayaking and paddle boarding.
